Ken has been a full-time underwater photographer for over twenty years. During that time he has travelled extensively around Australia, Asia, the South Pacific and the Indian Ocean. He has been a runner up in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year in the portrait section, and has had travel, diving and creature articles published all over the world. Ken lives in Melbourne, in the southern Australian state of Victoria.

At Ken Hoppen Photography, we are passionate about capturing the beauty and essence of the natural world, predominately in underwater settings. Through the medium of still photography we provide stock photos for a wide range of purposes, including books, advertising, magazines and commercial products. Ken is particularly interested in photographing different fish species.
